Mirego shines at the W3 Awards with six distinctions

Mirego has secured two Gold and four Silver awards at the international W3 Awards. This success is attributed to the mobile apps developed for Air Transat and DAVIDsTEA. These applications have each been awarded three honors, highlighting the company's commitment to digital creativity and excellence.

The W3 Awards, sanctioned by the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts (AIVA), elevate and illuminate the projects that help shape the future of our increasingly digital lives. With an impressive number of applications from around the world, winning an award is a significant recognition, attesting to the quality and innovation of the awarded projects.

The award-winning projects

The mobile application designed for Air Transat earned Mirego a Gold award in the Mobile Features - Best Practices category, along with two Silver awards in the Mobile Apps & Sites - Travel and Mobile Features - Best User Experience categories. 

The project impressed the jury with its minimalist design and intuitive, user-friendly features, fully reflecting our belief that an outstanding digital product should balance aesthetics and functionality. To achieve this, the Mirego team diligently identified and addressed the stress factors faced by travelers. The app effectively supports Air Transat's clientele by providing a smooth experience that reassures users throughout their journey.

The DAVIDsTEA mobile app secured a Gold award in the Mobile Apps & Sites - Food & Beverage category and was further recognized with two Silver awards for Mobile Features - Best Commerce Integration and for Mobile Apps & Sites - Shopping. 

The project captivated the jury with its unique user experience designed to sustain customer relationships online through personalized and engaging interactions. To realize this project, our teams strategically identified features that align with the expectations of diverse consumer groups. Inspired by the sensory and personal experience of in-store shopping, these features aim to minimize the obstacles associated with buying tea online.
